Goodwills 1st Good Boats Race and Festival will be a day of heart-pounding races and a celebration of Asian-American culture all while paddling for a purpose. Good Boats for Goodwill is a community event like no other that will brighten up the banks of Lake Olmstead with the colors of the Orient on Saturday, April 28th, 9am-3pm.

A celebration of Asian cultures and a boat race for a good cause will come together Saturday, April 28, at Augustas Lake Olmstead to kick off what officials hope will be an annual tradition.

Andrew and Christina Ostrowski brought as much energy as they could to their team Saturday. With his hair dyed green and face painted and her hot pink tutu, the couple took the front seats paddling for Georgia Health Sciences Universitys dragon boat team at the Good Boats dragon boat festival at Lake Olmstead to benefit Goodwill.
